Bahía Concepción, Baja California Sur
Our friends Blake and Brittany (from Tahoe, California) join us in Loreto and after a quick tour around town we throw off the dock lines and head to Bahía Concepción (85NM) for a week on the hook in front of Playa Santispac. We lucked out and had great weather and a surprise visit from some Spinner Dolphins inside the little bay. Thank you to Doug and Laura Harlow, who also paid us a visit and took some great footage of our Nordhavn. Most likely to appear in a future Captain’s post.

A pod of fifty (or so) Spinner Dolphins came racing through, and around the bay. for about 30 minutes. People got into their kayaks, tenders and pongas and chased them around and the dolphin’s actually appeared to be enjoying the mayhem. When they were done with people, they just dove down and were gone.
